Assessment within Curriculum for Wales
The new Curriculum for Wales does not formally state how and when assessments should take place. This tool has been developed to allow schools to make their own decisions on how this process should take place. As a school, you can identify the areas of assessment you most wish to focus on and develop your dashboard to suit your school's requirements.
All schools are required to carry out national tests each year from Y2 - Y9, with many schools carrying out these assessments twice a year. Our dashboards therefore allow in-depth analysis of these figures at all levels within school. Schools can check progress has been made between multiple sets of national test results, identifying pupils who may require further support.
